Megan's Story

On the 2nd October 2012 there was a serious road traffic collision near Dolgellau, Wales . The 17 year old occupant of the car was seriously injured—she was taken by RAF SeaKing to Ysbyty Gwynedd and then transferred to the nearest Major Trauma Centre at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Megan spent 44 days in ICU and over 8 months in hospital. Her road to recovery was long and heroic, she now wants to work as a nurse in the NHS, and she also gives motivational talks.
