Barts Charity launches new trauma appeal

Barts Charity (London) has just launched a new appeal to raise much needed funds for trauma research and education. You can read more about the appeal here, donate or ask the Charity for help in getting your own fundraising event off the ground.
To kicks things off, some of the scientists and clinicians from the Barts Centre for Trauma Sciences will be having a trauma-themed 'bake-off' at the Blizard Institute, Whitechapel on Wednesday 1st April. We'll be outside the Perrin lecture theatre from midday onwards, hawking sweet treats and handing out trauma leaflets.
If you in the area, please drop down and say hi! If you'd like anymore information, or would even like to join us, please drop us a line.
Are you/ your organisation doing a trauma themed event? Please let us know!
If you are an individual, Charity, or any other organisation running an event to raise awareness about traumatic injury or to raise money, please contact us. We would love to promote your event via this website and our social media channels.
Any suggestions for improving AfterTrauma.org?
This website is brand new, and we are still adding information and images, and eager to hear how we can make the site as helpful as possible to traumatic injury survivors and their families. Please feel free to post your views in the chat room or drop us a line.
And if you are a professional worker in the trauma field who would like to contribute content and be involved in any way, we'd also love to hear from you!
